    You re ready to gain the skills and experience needed to grow within your role and advance your career and we have the perfect software engineering opportunity for you.Job summary As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase, in the Data managementTeam which is aligned CTO Technology Team you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.The Data Management product line is delivered via JPMC Advanced Data Ecosystem (JADE), a comprehensive data management solution that facilitates in making JPMC s data discoverable, understandable, observable, trustworthy, accessible and interoperable for authorized personas to drive BI and AI/ML initiatives with agility and velocity. It includes center of excellences for multiple product lines, such as Data Lake (DL), Data Migrations Services (DMS), Unified Data Catalog and Controls (UDCC), JADE Foundational Services (JFS), and Data Analytics & Business Intelligence services, to drive digital transformation, cloud adoption and AI/ML capabilities throughout the firm. Job responsibilities
    • Solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
    • Working with our LOB (line of business) users, collaborate with other technology teams to design, develop, test full stack cloud data solutions.
    • Embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning.
    • Work on enterprise EMR products and contribute for the expanded usage of AI/ML services and applications that leads to increased innovation and reuse across the firm.
    • Lead by influence, mentor junior software engineers, ability to navigate to different teams and business to find solutions to complex problems.
    • Self-driven and Lead the innovation, perform proof of concept and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Bachelors/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
    • 5 years of experience in application development using any of these programming languages: Java/Python,Scala, and Spark. Experience working in financial industry is preferred.
    • Experience in AWS EMR or any other AWS/Other cloud Data lake services is preferred.
    • 1 years of experience with DevOps automation tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
    • 1 years of experience in developing, deploying and monitoring in building large distributed and parallel systems using container technology including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWD Fargate
    • Strong on critical thinking, great communication and team work skill is essential to this role
    • The candidate should have a proactive approach to problem solving
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Exposure to cloud technologies
    • Btech background preferred
    • High level of responsibility and Ownership from inception through to implementation
