  • Design, develop, implement, and support highly complex BI applications of strategic or functional importance including, integration with data sources, highly automated data refresh processes, best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making.
  • Evangelize self-service BI, analytics and reporting as well as the effective use data & toolsets by the widest possible audience
  • Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the data ecosystem
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials for end users.
  • Applying architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability
  • Promote and demonstrate effective teamwork in an Agile team setting
Qualifications/Education
  • 10 years of experience designing, building, and implementing BI solutions using BI Tools like Looker, Domo, Tableau etc.
  • Experience implementing and delivering solutions with Big Data platforms like Hive, Spark, Scoop etc.
  • Strong ability to understand and translate information given by customers and quickly derive insight, synthesize information clearly and concisely, and build quick prototypes
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to interpret requirements into design implementation and code effectively
  • Solid UI/UX skills.
  • Educate the business and IT, in general, in the value of efficient and effective use of the BI tools
  • Ability to anticipate risks and issues, escalate to senior management and facilitate decision-making to balance business needs versus technical constraints
  • Experience designing/developing UI with Angular, D3, React etc. would be a huge advantage
