RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, test and deploy software Additional features and/ or content is released to solution end users. Continued learning through additional trainings and code review sessions. Improved quality and productivity of output. Communicate and collaborate with product developers, direct manager and engineering peers to develop the correct solutions Effective project planning and development of expected solutions. Respond to bugs and requests for product development through internal systems Effective engagement in development and feedback life cycle Participate in design discussions and brainstorming of ideas to improve and develop new features. Gain broader proficiency for the product and demonstrate ability to contribute to forward direction. Develop new single page apps (SPA) , make enhancements or migrate existing apps in Backbone to AngularJS/ VueJs Proactively suggest improvements to applications and processes that enhance the client experience or improve performance Assist with the initial engineering investigation and triaging of issues found during weekly regression testing Work with Product Development team to understand project requirements and work with other Engineers on the technical design of those solutions Provide periodic project status updates to team lead/ remote manager REQUIRED SKILLS 3-4 years of industry experience Professional Experience with HTML, CSS Professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript Experience with JavaScript-based MVC frameworks, especially AngularJS or VueJs is desirable. Knowledge of RESTful services, especially NodeJS is desirable. Proficiency with Object Oriented design principles and working knowledge of Linux OS Design experience with multi-tier web architectures Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to work as a member of a team, including participating in peer code reviews and maintaining project and operational documentation Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team Ability to create and review documentation and test plans Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people Has repeatedly developed, tested and deployed high quality, stable changes with success and in a timely manner Proven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and learn new tools and practices where needed Proven ability to describe FactSet s business, client base and where their work fits into the bigger picture. Ability to contribute to code review feedback for other engineers and contribute to forward design ideas B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent,
