The Analytics Developer tools team within Tableau CRM has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who is excited to solve complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity.     • Create the next generation of tools, automation and infrastructure for left-shifting developer productivity tools
    • Move the needle on developer productivity for local dev environment, release velocity and product quality
    • Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation
    • Relentlessly push to move from DevOps to No-Ops
    • Troubleshoot, determine root cause and fix issues
    • Define, collect and report metrics that measure progress and performance
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
    • 7 years of industry experience, with at least 5 in software development
    • Experience in software development using a general purpose programming language such as Python, Go and/or Java
    • Linux/Unix System Engineering and shell scripting experience
    Nice to have
    • Experience in building/deploying services to AWS
    • Managing a large CI system such as Jenkins farms and/or SFCI
    • Enabling local kubernetes dev environment using tools such as Skaffold
    • Experience building Data engineering, log analysis solutions
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
    • Demonstrated expertise in build automation, CI, and DevOps
    • Experience architecting and developing software enabled solutions for ambiguous business problems
    • Hands on technical leadership in driving projects and charting technical direction
