Teams focus is on:Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitmentsAdvancing the firm s Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Application Portfolio and PlatformsAdopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutionsDriving innovation across the firm s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cyclesInvesting in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliencyControls & Operational Risk Technology supports - identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of events.Key ResponsibilitiesTransform the Business Requirements into Entities & Relationships that best suits for Application & ReportingDrive conversations with development, DBA teams to review and optimize the schema structure, ingestion processes like Tablespace, Schemas and memory management.Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data modelsDesign logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancyRecommend opportunities for reuse of data within existing and/or new applicationsAnalyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutionsCarry out design reviews/code reviews at agreed points throughout the project life cycleWork closely with the vendor development team to monitor the design/development undertaken by themHands on design and development of technical artifactsParticipate in technical reviews; define/Improve processes on configuration management, deployment and resiliency planning for the applicationCompetencies:Essential:Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplinesAdvanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processesExperience using Erwin, TOAD or any other Data Modeling ToolExpertise in persistence technologies such as SQL and No-SQL platformsE xperience with writing packages, stored procedures, triggers, and complex analytical queries, and tuning complex queriesExperience in writing Shell and/or Perl scriptsExperience in working on multiple projects at a timeExperience in data profiling, data modeling, understanding relationships, query tuning, functional design, development and support in a Unix environmentMust be able to work in fast paced environment and be able to adapt to changing requirements.Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automationEssential Experience:4 7 years work experienceExposure to technology development projects and the full technology development lifecycleExcellent Communication and Inter-personal skills, both with business customers and with fellow IT professionals (Business Analysts, Project Managers and Developers).Strong problem-solving skillsA delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without directionAbility to multi-taskAbility to work to deadlines,
