Job Description

Key contributor in an SRE team that Runs, maintains and improves services or products by applying automated software engineering practicesContributes independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives like availability, performance, change management, monitoring, and capacity management with focus on reliability and toil reductionYou will be given opportunities to individually contribute to develop code in java and supporting technologies along with usage/consume of Internal or external cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/Private Cloud platform. Skill Set/ Capabilities/Strengths

  • Proficient in at least two or more software languages (e.g. Python, Java, Go, etc.) with respect to designing, coding, testing , and software delivery
  • Proficient in the development of automated tools, systems, and services in multiple technology domains.
  • Develops, Tests, and debugs automated software deliverables for Applications, Systems, and or Infrastructures
  • Proficient in designing, building, and deploying software based infrastructure components. (E.g. cloud products , container systems , compute, storage and networks services)
  • Exposure troubleshooting system level components.
  • Experience in system and software security and entitlements SSO, Windows AD,KRB etc
  • Supports engineering principles to production management
  • Experience in automating manual work
  • Designs and contributes to performance monitoring and capacity management tools.
  • Able to work on multiple large projects that have business impact, and is self-initiated. Should be able to provide supporting data or communicate business value of the projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Strong transformation experience in large financial organizations, especially in modernizing core platforms from legacy to Cloud.
Educational:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or masters in computer science MSc or masters in computer applications (MCA) or Masters in Technology (M Tech)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Mainframes
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure
  • Strong problem solving skills
