Job Description

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Primary development experience (hands-on) including Python, Databases (Relational, Splunk indexes), React
  • Working knowledge of .net, .net core, Java
  • Previous experience in development of Micro Services and container based application - eg. Kubernetes, Docker
  • Integration of collaboration tools, applications, building new and redeveloping existing applications to include new features, bug fixes and APIs
  • Development of application utilising databases such as SQL, Oracle, Mongo, MySQL
  • Messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Event logging and auditing into systems such as Splunk
  • Debugging skills to solve complex problems without much assistance
  • Prior experience in leading and mentoring development teams
  • Very strong technical, analytical, problem solving
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Proven working experience in software development
  • Design and build advanced, scalable, performant applications utilizing Python
  • Strong knowledge of application integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and API s, Rest/SOAP APIs
  • Integration of collaboration tools.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Experience in XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, or other Web technologies is a great plus.
  • Very good debugging skills to solve complex problems without much assistance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Working knowledge of application integration, collaboration, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • A passion for creative solutions for difficult problems
  • Very strong technical, analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies, Pair Programming, CI/CD and Test Driven Development
