Qualcomm at Hyderabad is looking for a strategic HR leader to provide HR leadership and support to the Vice-President for Software Organization(SW Org) and team across multiple sites in India. The impact of this role is geared towards strategic development of the SW Org. You are expected to participate and effectively contribute in the planning process, by interpreting business strategies, establishing strategic plans and objectives for the HR function as it relates to the India SW Org. Your responsibilities will include a wide gamut of HR services including advice/direction to the management team on HR policy, performance management, organizational development, team building and employee relations matters; this will involve making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with the strategic direction of the group. You will work with the leadership and management to design and deliver appropriate HR interventions to build a strong, cohesive team as well as other desired business results; hence have a strong interest and ability in developing business acumen. Your will work in a matrix structure and collaborate with HR business partner for the global SW Org, drive implementation of HR initiatives, goals and priorities; ensure alignment with overall Qualcomm HR Organization and additionally, you and your team will manage daily HR operations for SW, which has over 6,500 full time and contingent workforce staff combined, and resolve day-to-day issues using well-defined or at times generally defined processes.
