A Software Tester or Quality Analyst must have a deep understanding of testing the application/software and possess a strong interest in technology and its advancement. Knowledge on CRM product will be added advantage, but is not mandatory. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for all aspects of software testing. Working with the Development team, you will: Understand product, requirements & translate into automation test cases & test suites. Identify & automate manual test cases (all critical & major test scenarios and achieve high coverage of automation in the builds) Execute & maintain automation test cases, log defects and understand defect cycle. Suggest improvements to product from end user standpoint (usability testing) Communicate with test lead and test manager for status reporting. Publish automation report periodically. Conduct peer reviews on test documentation and provide feedbacks & valuable inputs. Suggest improvements to product from end user standpoint (usability testing) Support UAT testing activities. Communicate with test lead and test manager for status reporting. Provide suggestions, feedbacks, innovative ideas & share within & across teams. Technical and Other Skills: Desired Profile Experience with reviewing requirements and developing automation test cases based on those requirements. Whitebox testing experience at the unit, integration and system levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are critical. The ability to work as a team player is essential. Initiative and the ability to work with minimal guidance.
