274477BRSolution ArchitectJob DescriptionReporting directly to the Functional Domain Architect, the primary responsibilities are : Defining the architecture of IT solutions (e.g. Business and Technical Applications as well as Platforms) leveraging and adapting the Novartis Solution Architecture development and description method (Architecture Handbook) for all IT solutions falling under the Solution Architect s responsibility. Adherence to the architecture governance defined by the Enterprise Architecture Group and instantiated by Functional / Technology Domain Architecture groups. Accountable for the end- to- end technical delivery of the solution, ensuring a good quality solution, implemented as per the architecture defined, supporting the build and the operation, and conducting project, quality and architecture reviews at key checkpoints in the Solution Architecture Development Lifecycle. Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Functional/ Technology Domain architecture in the definition of architecture roadmaps, frameworks and reference architecture. Defining the architecture of IT solutions Contribute to the conception of IT solutions, taking into account the overall Regulatory IT systems landscape Provide IT Solution meeting overall business requirements of regulatory domain including regulatory information management, submission management, health registration management, health authority interaction management and other relevant business processes Build interfaces with required systems in IT landscape for automated information flows Accountable for providing IT solution(s) meeting functional and non- functional requirements, fitting with Novartis Enterprise Architecture guidelines and standards (e.g. Solution architecture practice, technology standards and roadmaps) Functional / Technology Domain Architecture (e.g. Business Application Reference Architecture, Roadmaps) Accountable to keep the solution architecture documented adapting the Architecture Handbook practice Responsible to engage architects/ subject matter experts to define and further detail the complete solution architecture and support its implementation. Leverage Subject matter experts and Tier 3 support teams.
