268303BRSolution Architect - ClinicalJob DescriptionReporting directly to the Functional Domain Architect , the primary responsibilities are : Defining the architecture of IT solutions (e.g. Business and Technical Applications as well as Platforms) leveraging and adapting the Novartis Solution Architecture development and description method (Architecture Handbook) for all IT solutions falling under the Solution Architect s responsibility. Adherence to the architecture governance defined by the Enterprise Architecture Group and instantiated by Functional / Technology Domain Architecture groups. Accountable for the end - to - end technical delivery of the solution , ensuring a good quality solution , implemented as per the architecture defined , supporting the build and the operation , and conducting project , quality and architecture reviews at key checkpoints in the Solution Architecture Development Lifecycle. Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Functional / Technology Domain architecture in the definition of architecture roadmaps , frameworks and reference architecture. This role is a critical driver for improving the quality and the cost of the IT solutions as well as for enabling the evolutionary fitness of the IT solutions in scope while complying with governance , standards , security , compliance and interoperability requirements across related IT solutionsMinimum requirementsGraduate - level degree in computer science discipline English10+ years of diverse professional IT experience encompassing technology , systems management and service management. Deep business knowledge in the Clinical domain Demonstrated success in Architecting solutions. Working Knowledge of TOGAF , Unified Process or other Architecture Frameworks. Demonstrated success managing solution development quality. Demonstrated knowledge and execution of Project Management skills and experience. PMP certification preferred. Working understanding and application of the ITIL framework and ITIL certification preferred. Strong understanding of Software Development Life - Cycle At least 10 Years of experience delivering solutions for Clinical business area. Demonstrates in - depth knowledge in CTMS , EDC , CDMS systems; very desirable if have in - depth knowledge / experiences on reporting / analytics systems in clinical business area.
