Solution Architect - Sales ForceJob Description
Reporting directly to the Technology Domain Architect or Functional Domain Architect, the primary responsibilities are : Defining the architecture of IT solutions (e.g. Business and Technical Applications as well as Platforms) leveraging and adapting the Novartis Solution Architecture development and description method (Architecture Handbook) for all IT solutions falling under the Solution Architect s responsibility. Adherence to the architecture governance defined by the Enterprise Architecture Group and instantiated by Functional / Technology Domain Architecture groups. Ensuring a good quality solution, implemented as per the architecture defined, supporting the build and the operation, and conducting quality and architecture reviews at key checkpoints in the Solution Architecture Development Lifecycle. Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Functional/Technology Domain architecture in the definition of architecture roadmaps, frameworks and reference architecture. Defining the architecture of IT solutions Accountable for providing IT solution(s) meeting functional and non-functional requirements, fitting with Novartis Enterprise Architecture guidelines and standards (e.g. Solution architecture practice, technology standards and roadmaps) Functional / Technology Domain Architecture (e.g. Business Application Reference Architecture, Roadmaps) Accountable to keep the solution architecture documented adapting the Architecture Handbook practice Responsible to engage architects/subject matter experts to define and further detail the complete solution architecture and support its implementation. Leverage Subject matter experts and Tier 3 support teams.
Minimum requirements
Graduate-level degree in computer science discipline English 15 years of diverse professional IT experience encompassing technology, systems management and service management. Demonstrated success in Architecting solutions. Working Knowledge of TOGAF, Unified Process or other Architecture Frameworks. Demonstrated success managing solution development quality. Demonstrated knowledge and execution of Project Management skills and experience. PMP certification preferred. Working understanding and application of the ITIL framework and ITIL certification preferred. Strong understanding of Software Development Life-Cycle At least 7 Years of experience delivering solutions for Sharepoint platform. Demonstrates in-depth, technical SharePoint (2013/2016 and Office 365) subject matter expertise Proficient with technical authoring, specifically techniques to describe software design and architecture (UML, design patterns, SOA, EAI, BPI) Familiar with object oriented development, design patterns and specifically the .NET Framework
