Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities One of our client is looking for Solution Integrators to be based out of Hyderabad. Below is the detailed JD, Roles and responsibilities.Context, Job Description, Roles and responsibilities :Solution Integrator is the Lynch Pin for the Bid proposal. He/She will own the following The E2E Solution, E2E Bid response, Key Differentiators. He/She will also play a very important role in the Bid defense as well as formulating a winnable price.Solution integrator is expected to have the following traits: Passion and ability to work Hands On on a proposal (Writing content, editing existing content, Preparing Presentations and so on) Solid cross functional and/or cross technical experience Delivery, Solution Design, Presales Business orientation Good social and communication skills Technology agnostic Consulting mindset Ability to question the different aspects of the solution and be able to take informed decision Highly passionate, energetic, decision maker Customer centric Ability to bring in holistic perspective Ability to author and synthesize content Creative and Disruptive thinkingThe responsibilities of a solution Integrator are: Proactive Solution Phaseo Provide solution inputs for preparing a business case Bid Qualificationo Participate in Bid Qualification Calls Capture customer s drivers for the proposal, assess competition and aid in determining target pricingo Request for bid qualification at intermediate milestones, as needed Solution Definitiono Conduct solution brainstorming /white-boarding sessionso Should Interact with Sales team to get the pulse of the customer on their preferences/choices of solution componentso Identify solution stakeholders and define solution scope for eacho Define solution storyboard, key tenets of solution, differentiators, executive summary outlineo Publish the High level Solution Straw-man identifying the major components of the solution This will be drilled down by the technology, horizontal and vertical competency solution architects in their specific areaso Publish Dos and Don ts for solution development to each stakeholder Solution Developmento Identify appropriate case studies and references, as needed (Bid Manager/eKM to help where appropriate) o Define review milestones and identify reviewers to be incorporated in bid plano Identify product/technology partners, as needed o Should continuously interact with the individual solution component SPOC to review and guide the component solution so that it is in line with the overall solutiono Analyse the impact of any scope change / query resolutions from customer on the overall solution, timelines, efforts, SLAso Baseline the proposal ready for submissiono Integrate solution components to create proposal responseo Own the E2E sizing. Should be able to optimise the sizing based on inputs from individual technology / component owners Solution/Proposal Reviewo Review and sanitize the review comments and querieso Ensure that there are no gaps / overlaps in effort estimates in a multi-pillar scenarioo Review engagement level delivery schedule, communication and escalation plan, assumptions, risks and dependencies provided by delivery owner Commercialso Define / Develop commercial model with finance, as needed Delivery Plano Blueprint engagement level delivery schedule, communication and escalation plan, assumptions, risks and dependencies Bid Risk Trackingo Identify, track and mediate risks throughout the bid process with the help of bid manager Bid Defenceo Should create the story for the defence to effectively communicate our value propositiono Should defend the overall solution during bid defense and be able to handle any questions on the overall solution Commercial negotiationo Aid in commercial negotiation, as needed Handover to deliveryo Handhold delivery team during the initial period to ensure the delivery happens in line with what was proposedo Assist in delivery assurance reviewsSolution Areas Solution Integrators are expected to have expertise in one or more solution areas so that when a RFP/RFS request comes, the right solution integrator can be mapped. The solution areas are: AMS o T&M and Managed Services - usually all technologies including .Net, Java, MF, Middleware and ERPs Microsofto Development and Testing using .Net and Microsoft products Java o Development and Testing using Java/JEE, Java Frameworks (Spring, JSF, Hibernate etc.), Open Source Tools (Jenkins, Subversion, Git, etc.) ERP o ERP centric solutions have predominantly SAP, Oracle or other ERPs as the majority of the solution. Could include some custom coding and system integration Cross Platform Solutionso System Integration, Legacy Modernization, Application Migration, Middleware Migration AMS and IMS Solutionso DC Migration, Application Migration to Cloud Architecture serviceso EA Assessment, Support and Governance and other architecture services,
