269111BRSolution Operations Manager EDMJob DescriptionOversee end- to- end services of applications and platforms in the Enterprise Data management (EDM)and ensure stability, integrity and business continuity. Ensure operational services for Data Management applications for the integration into other platforms. Ensure services for the Data management applications are delivered to the agreed Operations metrics including reviewing supplier performance based on the agreed SLAs and KPIs. Track and manage incidents, where applicable, including: o Identify, log, categorize, prioritize, resolve incidents and raise a problem if required o Ensure that incidents are followed up and solved appropriately o Manage the lifecycle of incidents and minimize their adverse impact on business operations o Identify, investigate, and report on incidents and review findings with key stakeholders o Coordinate crisis management with relevant stakeholders, if requiredOversee problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as sufficient prevention of recurrences Ensure adherence to documented operational procedures to maintain system integrity Ensure that configuration items are identified, accounted, reported, verified and audited (where applicable) Ensure proper user and access management Ensure appropriate operational service documentation is created and accepted by stakeholdersIdentify potential improvement areas for the owned system or application and connected services Maintain and ensure all application data is consistent across the various repositories Collect and distribute knowledge about systems and services to enable effective support Coordinate fulfillment of service requests and conduct monitoring, tracking and reporting Responsible for capacity and life cycle management of the EDM and AA applications and platforms. Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Operations Expert service scope. Contribute to continuous innovation and governance in the EDM & Advanced Analytics area for Novartis, in adherence with Novartis processes. Contribute to the EDM roadmaps and ensure platform operations evolution accordingly. Supports Projects delivery from operational readiness and availability perspective in the EDM area. Work in a DevOps manner in enhancing applications on the EDM Platforms. Contribute to project work in EDM & Advanced Analytics Area, providing estimation and design for operational set up. Ensure that all release and deployment packages can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and backed out (if required), in adherence to CI/CD best practices Support training of new team members Provide excellent subject matter expertise and develops an environment, which fosters innovation Act as trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities and relevant project information aligning with appropriate levels of staff regarding business needs, projects and initiatives Manage, coaches and oversees external resources in line with their targets, roles and responsibilities and the Novartis values & behaviors Work and manage activities of multiple third party vendors across time zones with strong customer focus.Minimum requirementsUniversity degree or equivalent.
