Job Description

    Description:We are seeking an experienced Solutioning expert with a deep understanding of Medical Devices space to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be part of the cross-functional Solutioning team and will play a critical role in driving sales and solutioning by understanding client pain points and crafting technical solutions that address them. This individual will collaborate closely with our clients and our sales and delivery teams to create proposals, deliver impactful pitches, and identify opportunities for incubation, up-selling, and cross-selling.Key roles and responsibilities: Work with Sales to engage with clients and understand the clients pain points, needs, and requirements in the regulatory domain, particularly in medical devices space. Leverage expertise in medical devices, and collaborate with the Sales and Delivery teams to create technical solution concepts that address client needs. Work closely with delivery teams to. convert solution concepts into detailed proposals and pitches, ensuring alignment with client requirements and our capabilities. Present proposals and pitches to clients, demonstrating the value of our solutions in addressing their needs and driving business growth. Identify opportunities to incubate, up-sell, and cross-sell on existing projects, ensuring continuous growth and expansion of our client relationships. Collaborate with other Solutioning team members to share knowledge and expertise, fostering a strong and cohesive team environment. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements to ensure that our solutions remain competitive and relevant.Key business skillsets Required: Pre-Sales Skills: Experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or a similar role, with a track record of developing and presenting compelling proposals and pitches that have resulted in successful sales. Knowledge of sales methodologies and strategies is beneficial. Business Acumen: Understanding of business concepts, processes, and value drivers in the biotech/pharma industry. Able to grasp how technical solutions can drive business benefits and value for the client. Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at various levels, from technical staff to executives. Experience in managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMBOK, MS Project) is a plus. Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with different teams within the organization (e.g., delivery, product, marketing) to ensure alignment and coordination in the sales process.Desirable: Strategic Thinking: Capacity to understand the broader business context, including competitive landscape, industry trends, and strategic opportunities. Ability to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives to ensure Freyr remains ahead of competitors Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders to reach agreements that benefit all parties. Understanding of negotiation principles and techniques. Financial Literacy: Understanding of financial principles relevant to the sales process, such as cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI), and total cost of ownership (TCO). Ability to communicate the financial benefits of technical solutions to clients.Scientific qualifications: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Masters) in a life sciences field such as Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Structural Biology, Biophysics, or a closely related field. A combined degree with MBA would be a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the life sciences domain, preferably within a Medtech industry setting. Direct experience in Regulatory Affairs is highly desirable. Deep understanding of Regulatory processes in Medtech.Personal attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders at various levels. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to translate complex clients needs into actionable solutions. A self-motivated, results-driven mindset, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
