Job Description

Use concise statements that provide a clear understanding of the level of responsibility, complexity, creativity and analysis performed in this position.)Provide Level 2 UAT and Prod Support for Treasury and Market s Fixed Income/Currency ApplicationResponsible for stability of UAT and production environments ensuring application and all interfaces have maximum availability.Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing and implementing Application fixFollow escalation procedures during outagesResponsible for handling Change Management, raising Change Request and scheduling for the implementation of fixes and enhancements.Act as a facilitator and coordinate between various teams like Infrastructure, Level 1, Application vendor to resolve complex issues and outagesEnsure all new deployments have correct documentation and trainingEnsure accurate and timely incident and problem loggingTrack incidents and provide regular updates to users on request status and progressPerform Root Cause Analysis and Regular Reporting to identify areas for review for improvement

  • Write Unix scripts and suggest automation to improve efficiency/effectiveness of support team
  • Oversee User Acceptance/Interface testing with various upstream/downstream systems.
  • Manage Test environment stability and handle User Requests from different systems for Regression Testing Support. Collaborate with Automation and QA team to continuously enhance test scope for Application automation.
Required Experience (Indicate nature and extent of work experience including minimum number of years required.)At least 7 years working in an Application Support EnvironmentCore technical competency required:Unix Shell /Perl Scripting Java,SQL, preferably in OracleTIBCOGood to have experience:Apache Server-Exposure to Monitoring tools - ITRS, KibanaNetwork troubleshooting basics,
