Job Description

Drive the compilation and analysis of Procurement related compliance and performance metrics to support the global and regional Procurement operations associates. Interact with the global/regional Procurement operations team members and other relevant stakeholders to identify areas of improvement related to compliance and processes as well as to allow mitigation of identified risks.Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Data extraction of source data out of various Novartis systems (e.g ACTIVE, CLM/Upside, SIM, Save Plan, Save Track, SAP) and accurate consolidation into regional and global views as required. Obtaining and consolidating data related to observations out of reviews/ audits from different assurance providers (e.g Financial Controls & Compliance, Internal Audit, Business Practices Office). Data Analytics Performing basic analytics to assess maturity levels of compliance related to controls but also for metrics related to process maturity (e.g metrics for Vendor Master Data, Contract Management, Competitive Bidding, PO penetration, Responsible Procurement and Spend & Savings Reporting). Analysis of SAP Transactional Cockpit Reports or similar systems-based reports as applicable (e.g. e-CARE GRC AC or Basware Showcase Reports). Analytics of external data sources such as e.g. Dunn&Bradstreet, COFAS or DowJones Sustainabilty Index Reporting Consolidating Divisional data into Regional x-Divisional reports per country. Issuing standard and ad-hoc dashboards. General Support Support the definition and preparation of standard control evidence for countries to facilitate monitoring of controls related to the Novartis Financial Controls framework (NFCM). Provide input into best practice sharing by identifying suggested improvements/ process standardizations and by supporting the establishment and maintenance of a best practice platform. Support the handling of the step-out process related to the standard operating procedures to help driving further standardizationMinimum requirements University degree and 2-3 years in a comparable position What you ll bring to the role:Experience in process industry or similar Fluent English; EU languages an advance 3 years of experience working in multi-national Industries (preferably Pharmaceutical)Why consider Novartis 799 million.
