Job Description

SSRSSSISCognos Developer: Analyze, design and develop technical solutions in Compliance Technology. Individual would be responsible for working with the business analysts and tech lead in understanding the requirements, coming up with an elegant solution based on SSRS Reporting platform, creating SSIS Packages, building the code to implement the solution, performing regular code reviews to ensure compliance with design standards and working with other members on the team to collectively build an enterprise solution. As a member of an Agile Team, it will be required to participate in Scrum ceremonies to include daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, product demos, and retrospectives. Written and verbal communication skills are very important to ensure all team members are aware of roadblocks and development progress. Work with Testing Teams to ensure timely correction of defects or missed requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test SSRSSSIS based software applications that support business units or supporting functions
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Responsible to develop test cases and perform unit testing
  • Must be able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed team
  • Responsible to provide regular task status update to the management

Requirements

    Education :

    B.E. B. TechM.E. M. TechB.Sc.M.Sc.BCAMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)

    Certifications If Any : Not Mandatory

    Experience Range: 6.5 to 9 yrs

    Mandatory Skills:

    • Very Strong SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) skills
    • Experience in Agile methodology and tool like JIRA
    • Good verbal & written communication skill
    • Dedicated, self-driven and willingness to take responsibility and ownership of application
    • Strong Problem identifying and solving ability and Excellent communication skills
