Job Description

The selected candidate will be part of Analytics Center of Excellence rolling up to Synchrony Financial India. The candidate will be working for Analytics Consulting team and will be responsible for end-end project execution and to build & leverage relationships across multiple functions within Analytics.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Individual contributor and responsible for end-end analytics consulting projects execution.
  • Represent the team in multiple forums with strategic projects and build brand for the team
  • Key Point of contact for any analytics consulting projects.
  • Should have worked hands on on R, Python, Tableau and should have hands on experience with modeling techniques.
  • Experience in EDL usage, AWS cloud and new age technologies is needed.
  • Comfortable working on open ended business problems and in driving them to closure.
  • Should have a consulting mindset to problem solving.
  • Should work on datashare initiatives and come up with value added projects
  • Deliver on regular projects and Analytical packages that can be best practiced.
  • Proactively propose, initiate, execute and own strategic projects that create business impact.
  • Regularly communicate with Stakeholders on Projects
  • Work with multiple internal and external teams on projects and close loop effectively.
  • Facilitate team meetings with US Portfolio analytics team.
  • Proactively leverage expertise in the larger team to deliver impact for Business.
  • Follow audit processes, documentation and accuracy guidelines.
  • Responsible and committed to the last mile execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with onshore team to understand the business relevancy of the projects
  • Should mentor other team members depending on the need
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Master s or Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or any other quantitative streams
  • Minimum 1 years of hands on SAS/SQL/R/Python programming experience
  • Experience in working on various data warehouses like CDCI, Retailer databases
  • Strong written/oral communication skills Good understanding of Retail Finance business and Retail Marketing function
  • Proven ability to deliver Analytical solutions for Business problems.
  • Ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously
