Job Description

  1. Provide functional support for production system and enhancement projects.
  2. Resolve production tickets - Provide user assistance, resolve defects, perform configurations and develop new solutions
  3. Participate in the design, build and implementation of solutions to solve business requirements for small to large initiatives in P2P/Financials area
  4. Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to review business processes, understand requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, evaluate options and make recommendations.
  5. Implement new functionality, enhance system capabilities, and improvise existing solutions.
  6. Modify existing or develop new RICEW solutions across various P2P and Financial modules
  7. Identify and drive process and system improvements to meet business needs.
  8. Provide timely support to various business teams to process transactions smoothly.
  9. Work with vendor(s) to meet business needs.
  10. Provide training and assistance to new and existing users.
  11. Perform functional testing to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to customers

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Applications as a functional consultant.
  • In-depth understanding of business flows and system capabilities in procure2Pay and Financial areas
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle P2P and Financial modules (iExpense, Payables, iProcurement, Purchasing, General Ledger and Cash Management).
  • Experience in global environments and in-depth understanding of intercompany, Multi-Org, Currency conversions and multiple SOB concepts.
  • Experience in common modules such as Sys Admin, eBTax, AME and Subledger accounting.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting treatment of transactions and interfacing to General Ledger
  • Proven experience in designing and supporting RICEW components.
  • Experience or knowledge in Project Accounting is highly preferred
  • Implementation of AME and Workflow experience strongly desired.
  • Hands-On experience in writing queries and good understanding of R12 table structures is required
  • Experience in business process analysis, gap identification and system configuration to meet business needs.
  • Experience in preparing functional requirements, test case documents and planning and execution of UAT sessions.
  • Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with members various level
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize tasks assigned.
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated and a forward thinker.
