Very Strong SQL Server (includes working with DML, DDL, Stored procedures, ) Strong in services development and hosting for WCF, ASP.NET Web API. Strong in Ajax, Jquery, Javascript etc Strong in writing automated unit testing code. Strong in SSIS, SSRS. Demonstrate ability to apply Microsoft Practices and Patterns Working experience on Performance Tuning of an application using C# and SQL. Used Application Blocks like logging, exception handling, etc. Have worked with 3rd- party web controls Nice to have Knowledge on front end frameworks like Durandal, Knockout etc. Knowledge of Client side applications using windows forms, WPF. Key Job Responsibilities: Should be able to lead at least 3- 4 or more team members on a project end to end. Responsible for team members deliverables and helping them on technical issues. Responsible for maintaining, enhancing and developing and supporting applications and technology solutions. Responsible for ensuring that all applications development efforts meet and or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, time, and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards. Responsible for developing technical requirements and communicating the technical solution to the project team. Responsible for leading and directing the efforts of small teams of developers / Quality engineers and guide team as needed. Becomes intimately familiar with all assigned application and technology functionality. Becomes intimately familiar with all development tools, testing tools, methodologies, and processes. Becomes intimately familiar the project management methodology and processes. Ensures successful development and application support strategy is implemented. Encourages collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on- shore and off- shore team members. Demonstrates a working understanding of both quality assurance and software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share that knowledge with peers, and project team members. Demonstrates a strong working understanding of industry best standards in software development and version controlling. Ensures the quality and low bug rates of code released into production. Will assist the Technical Delivery Manager with project team duties as required Able to work on Agile projects, participating in daily SCRUM calls and providing task udpates for the team. This role is expected to generally work local India business hours with occasional off- hours status meetings with the on- shore team. During design and key development phases this role may need to work a staggered shift from 11- 8pm to ensure appropriate overlap with the India/ US team,
