Job Description

    *onsemi is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager - Probe Operations for our newly acquired fab East Fishkill, NY. This position will be responsible for the running of the test floor.Responsibilities:
    • Manage Probe Card Technicians and Operators
    • Install and Qualify various Functional Tester Platforms and protocols to prepare for full production readiness including:
    • Gage R&R, Industry Standard for Automotive compliance
    • Establish Test Libraries, Probe Card performance tracking, etc
    • Establish Maintenance / Calibration requirements
    • Establish Test Cell (Tester-Prober) to Logistics system requirements consistent w/Fab requirement
    • Establish requirements / protocols for Test Cell abort recovery and incident tracking to improve Test cycle time
    • Establish appropriate Production Operator procedures
    • Familiarity with Test Parameter analysis tools like DATAPOWER etc. is a plus.
    • Closely work with Tester Vendors to get their support to help release and maintain next generation tester platforms to production.
    , *Requirement:
    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Solid State Physics
    • 10 years of semiconductor Functional Test Engineering experience
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in people management
    • Demonstrated experience releasing test programs to production
    • Experience in running wafer Sort production test floor using state of the art probers/testers/mappers and familiar with application software tool interface between them.
    • Generate, monitor and track KPI reports for production flow and come up with a plan to improve KPI s.
    Preferred:
    • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Solid State Physics
    • Experience in Semiconductor Parametric & Functional Testing and Characterization especially in Discrete devices, IGBT
    • Experience in test equipment configuration and / or test lab supervision
    • Experience in manufacturing metrics and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; the ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and self-driven
    • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team and in an environment with minimal supervision
    • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
    • Experience in working with external constituencies
    • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
    • Familiarity with 5S, 8D, 6-sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEA
    • Ability to perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
