The business of analyzing and managing risk from natural catastrophes as well as man- made environment is growing rapidly and has proven to be immune to the economic slowdown that has affected the other industries in the recent past. We are looking for the candidates who can use their analytical skills in assessing the catastrophic risks which is one of the important domain of AIR. The profile demands an understanding of AIR products that help actuaries, underwriters, risk managers, and investment professionals understand, analyze and manage their catastrophe risk and to maximize their organizational potential.Main responsibilities, but not limited to: Work with high- powered team of professionals to understand sophisticated catastrophic risk models, property exposure data and insured lossesPerform sophisticated risk analyses using AIR cutting- edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of catastrophe risk managementTest implementation of model components into AIR softwareRecommend new approaches to risk management for use by AIR and our clientsRequired Knowledge and Skills: Good working knowledge of MS office tools.Good organizational, time management and multitask abilitiesGood statistical, analytical and problem solving skills.Actuarial or underwriting industry experience will be an added advantage.Knowledge of database concepts with proficiency in SQL is a plus.Experience: 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in General Insurance / Reinsurance and Risk Management fields.BE or related Science degree,
