Reventics, recently established Center of Excellence (COE) for Clinical Analytics at its Hyderabad center with a goal to further expand its three - pronged delivery model based on - clinical solutions, analytical modeling and proprietary technology. Summary Sr. Software Engineer (Data Warehousing/ Redshift) will be responsible to design and develop enterprise data warehouse platform using Amazon Redshift. The person in this role will bring hands - on experience in data warehousing, architecting, developing Big Data, RedShift based analytical applications and running them in production environments. Qualifications and Preferred Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or related area is required 5+ years of experience working as a database/ ETL developer/ analyst or related role 1+ year of experience with AWS Redshift and PostgreSQL Must have experience with a Columnar database - ideally Redshift Experience with working on Amazon AWS Cloud services like S3, Redshift, EC2 Experience in using Redshift COPY command to load data from Amazon S3 to Redshift Base Tables Experience in using Redshift Encoding and distribution styles Prior experience in developing solutions for US health plans and/ or providers is plus Database schema design, Bulk data movement/ ETL proficiencies and Data warehousing knowledge Claims based healthcare data and the health insurance industry knowledge Strong knowledge of Transact - SQL programming and complex stored procedure development Working knowledge of CPT/ HCPS/ ICD9/ ICD10 is plus Experience and understanding of EDI (837/ 835/ 824) , HL7 and EHR interfaces is plus Knowledge and know how to troubleshoot potential issues and experience with best practices around database operations Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Tools is plus Ability to work independently in a continually changing environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise data warehouse platform, capabilities, data schemas, and models Translate user requirements for reporting and analysis into data warehouse deliverables Develop and implement data auditing strategies and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity Design, build and maintain ETL pipelines to support data and analytical needs Define and build technical/ data architecture for data warehouse, data marts and big data solutions (including data and dimensional modeling) Perform shift and load activities to the Amazon AWS cloud Redshift data modelling Performance tuning activities; Creating, resizing, capacity planning of Redshift cluster Understanding of Redshift CLI and API in managing Redshift clusters Design and develop ETL code, technical specifications, ETL audit control and scheduling processes Design, develop and test SQL Server tables, views, stored procedures and T - SQL logic Develop and maintain complex ETL processes across multiple healthcare data sources Create efficient SQL queries to analyze data from external applications and the data warehouse Responsible for data profiling, source - target mappings, ETL development, SQL tunings and optimization, testing and implementation Analyze and resolve data related issues; data analysis to research root causes for data gaps, discrepancies and derive insights via longitudinal analysis Develop stored procedures functions using T - SQL; Define and develop quality control monitors to validate data loads Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back - up, and recovery specifications Employee Benefits Summary Comprehensive insurance to support your and your familys health, well - being and financial security.
