Job Description

    Job Title: Study Abroad CounselorImmediate Joining | Minimum3 Years Work ExperienceWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Study Abroad Counselor to join our team for immediate placement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a strong passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals through international education.Responsibilities:
    1. Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive counseling to students seeking to study abroad, including information on available programs, admission requirements, and visa processes.
    1. Application Support: Assist students in the preparation and submission of study abroad applications, ensuring all required documents are accurately compiled and submitted within deadlines.
    1. Institutional Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest developments in international education, immigration policies, and admission requirements for various countries and institutions.
    1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions to enhance the overall study abroad experience.
    1. Pre-Departure Orientation: Conduct pre-departure orientation sessions to prepare students for academic and cultural transitions in their host countries.
    1. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of student applications, communications, and relevant documentation.
    1. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including admissions, marketing, and administrative departments, to ensure seamless coordination of study abroad processes.
    1. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive offerings, and opportunities for expanding study abroad programs.
    Requirements:
    1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in study abroad counseling.
    2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
    3. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and provide personalized guidance.
    4. Cultural Awareness: A keen understanding of different cultures and an appreciation for diversity.
    5. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using relevant software and tools for communication and documentation.
    6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures related to international education and immigration.
