Job Description

The individual will be responsible for doing Batch Monitoring production Support for applications in the Banking Domain environment. The support activities involve monitoring, incident and problem management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support applications for 100% SLA meets
  • Prepare and/or review Impact Analysis, LLD based on requirements specifications and other documents
  • Triage, Develop Unit Testing; Participate in SIT/UAT testing
  • Communicate to technology partner
  • Drive abend calls and capable of clear and concise communication with business and other non-technical people
  • Provide fixes, enhancements as per the requirements
  • Ensure processes are followed at all stages; Work independently; Require less oversight/assistance
  • Provide support after office hours, weekends and stay on call when business needs
  • Mentor teams and if need be deep dive reviews with support team
  • Participate or conduct conference calls with tech and business users

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience working on J2EE applications
  • Programming knowledge of J2EE with Oracle DB
  • Experience working on UNIX / Linux Shell scripting, XML parsing, Configuration Management
  • Knowledge on Production support and Datastage

Desired skills:

  • Communication skills
  • Experience on Consumer Banking or BFSI Domain
