We are ONEXILINX.This FAE position will be based in Bangalore, India and will be responsible for all Data Center accounts in India. This position is responsible for all pre and post sales technical interactions with Xilinx customers and factory experts to maximize Xilinx presence in customer accounts.This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills with a good balance of FPGA, hardware, system architecture and application software expertise. The successful candidate must demonstrate proven experience in customer engagement, excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. The ability to develop strong internal (sales, marketing, engineering) and external (customer) relationships is required

• 8+ years of experience in Engineering/Applications Engineering/Solution Architect role preferably in Data Center market with exposure to one or more areas like AI/ML, HPC, networking, storage, Video solutions and technologies
• FPGA/Accelerator Card based solution development and deployment experience highly desired
• Knowledge of PCIe system and DMA hardware and software
• Proven understanding of the server software ecosystem in one or more areas including Windows Server, Linux, hypervisors, dockers and Kubernetes, existing cloud offering such as AWS EC2, GCP and Microsoft Azure, and profiling / performance optimization tools
• Hands on experience in the setup and configuration of server systems including software, networking and storage infrastructure
• Software Skills: C/C++/OpenCL, Device drivers (Linux and DPDK), Socket Programming, FFMPEG, Video Encoder/Decoder standards etc.
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%

Good to have Skills:

• Keen understanding of data center market environment and trends especially those pertaining to software defined everything
• Knowledge of GPUs and AI/ ML frame works such as TensorFlow/ Caffe
• Knowledge of ARM programming, EDA design tools and architectures
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog, Vivado, Quartus, VCS, ModelSim
• Experience in application/workload profiling, tuning and performance assessment

Job ResponsibilitiesProvide deep technical support to customers in their selection and use of Xilinx products like accelerator cards, development tools, silicon and IP products that ensure successPOC design creation to demonstrate Xilinx s values on silicon, HW acceleration, performance, etc. to create design winsProvide technical leadership and guidance that focuses on design win strategies for all customer opportunitiesAnalyze customer needs, and compare Xilinx and competitive solutions in order to maximize the customers use of Xilinx productsCollaborate with field and factory resources to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer project managers, engineering managers, system architects and design engineersCode and implement circuits to demonstrate efficient use of Xilinx technology and competitive advantages to secure design winsProvide all post-sales support, including lab debug, timing closure and analysis, RTL coding and simulation, pinout creation, power analysis, and board design feedbackProvide regular feedback to Xilinx management and factory experts on the needs of the customer baseEducation RequirementsB.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech.Years of Experience
