Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system Requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective test plans.
  • Participate in identifying the scope for automation on the product features.
  • Participate in requirement discussions to analyze scope of Automation for new requirements
  • Participate in design discussions to capture business requirements for automating them.
  • Create and execute the automation scripts for the identified scenarios
  • Implement changes as per Review comments.
  • Execute the scripts and extract results.
  • Troubleshoot identified Bugs, perform RCA and document them.
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing phases.
  • Report bugs to development teams.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation Test Escape Analysis and identify the gaps.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 3-4 Years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Minimum 2 Years of Automation Experience.
  • Work experience with Core Java, Java Script and XML
  • Basic CRUD operations in SQL is a must
  • Knowledge on additional scripting language is desired.
  • Knowledge of Data driven automation Architecture is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Agile framework.
  • Working knowledge of Test Management software (e.g. Jira, HP Quality Center, Zephyr or Test Rail).
  • Basic Commands on Unix/Linux.

  • Strong organizational skills.
