Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Software QA Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. Resource will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system Requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective test plans.
  • Participate in requirement discussions and identify the scope for the product features.
  • Participate in design discussions to understand the internal parts of the modules and identify the Test Scenarios.
  • Create and execute the Manual/ existing automation scripts for the identified scenarios.
  • Implement changes as per Review comments.
  • Execute the Test cases and log the defects in the defect tracking tool.
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing phases.
  • Report bugs to development teams.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation Test Escape Analysis and identify the gaps.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • 6-8 Years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Minimum 6 Years of Experience in Web based application testing and data base testing.
  • Deep experience in Testing methodologies.
  • Work experience in preparing Test Plans, Test strategies.
  • Work experience in Agile methodology.
  • Work experience with Automation Testing.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members, clients, and stakeholders as well as work closely with the dev team.
  • Work experience with Module Testing, Integration testing, System testing, Browser compatibility testing, Automated Testing.
  • Basic CRUD operations in SQL is a must.
  • Knowledge on additional scripting language is desired.
  • Working knowledge of Test Management software (e.g. Jira, HP Quality Center, Zephyr or Test Rail).
  • Basic Commands on Unix/Linux.
