Job Description

  • Must have extensive experience with mechanical design,fabrication,welding,inspection, post weld heat treatment and testing of pressure vessels, columns and heat exchanges.
  • Must have experience using ELITE software.
  • Must have experience with analysis of external loads on nozzles and structural attachments such as clips,beam seats,intrusions,lugs,legs,skirts,saddles, etc.
  • Experience with API 650 tanks is a plus.
  • Must have extensive background,knowledge and familiarity with ASME Section II, ASME Section VIII, Div.1 and ASTM Standards.
  • Fully responsible for the technical work and conformance with job requirements.
  • Provides overall supervision. Organizes work to comply with project requirements.
  • Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
  • Prepares and updates the Departments Design Basis for a Project.
  • Prepares material requisitions and technical input to subcontract packages.
  • Assigns all juniors engineering work including checking of calculations; reviews engineering sketches.
