Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an IBM Storage Architect, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters. Responsibilities: Apply Architectural Methods Select, tailor, and guide the use of appropriate, rigorous, structured, and recognized architectural methods in the delivery of work products and the execution of processes. Apply Architectural Thinking Apply sound, creative, and innovative architectural thinking to enhance and expand the implementation of architectural principles, practices, and concepts to meet the business intent or the delivery of solutions. Apply Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Architecture Apply knowledge of IT Infrastructure architectures (such as On Demand, Grid, Linux, Windows NT, etc) and their use in addressing client requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of IBM architecture(s) on IT Infrastructure management and implementation, as well as knowledge of complementary and competitive architectures, and how these architectures are used in the marketplace. Apply Knowledge of Storage Architectures Understand SAN storage architecture and concepts including RAID options for reliability and performance, storage subsystems, optimal LUN sizes and queue depth configurations Apply Knowledge of System Architecture Understand the design, features and function of IBM systems. Understand the system management of data including interfaces and bridges between other supporting systems. Architect IBM Storage Solutions, Construct a solution architecture for IBM Storage solutions. Identify technologies to meet the client requirements within the solution context, demonstrating that the solution architecture and selected components effectively address the business problem. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Infrastructure domain with 10+ years in SAN, NAS & Switch products.
• Proficient to implement the IBM/Brocade Total Storage SAN directors and switches. Execute the steps necessary to set up and manage production SAN environments using Brocade Network Advisor (BNA), and CLI. Ability to understand SAN fabric topologies and trunking. Use this understanding to establish storage resource access control by implementing new zone configurations and ensure data access integrity by managing the existing zone sets.
