Directly responsible for owning and solving our most complex customer issuesProvides technical assistance to the support team, customers, partners and Salesforce employeesAssists and mentors other new team members, as well as clients and partners on the use of Salesforce development tools and best practicesImprove the quality and efficiency of the solutions we deliver to our customersAssesses, evaluates and establishes development standards and best practices in accordance with the needs and aspirations of the Salesforce communityPerforms quality assurance in the form of coding reviews on the solutions delivery of others (customers, partners, internal teams)Serves as Salesforce s technical representative and thought leader to the external technical community and internally for technical issuesMinimum Requirements:College degree or equivalent years of experience2+ years providing customer facing product/technical support or 1+ year in a development role (Web based products or eCommerce preferred)Familiarity with Web service technologies and standards (protocols, security, etc)Familiarity with Web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScriptExperience in Application Servers (Tomcat, etc.)Experience in developing dynamic web applicationsExperience working with Eclipse IDE or similar frameworksExperience providing API supportExperience and knowledge of engineering tools such as bug tracking and source code control systems, (JIRA, GIT, etc)Must be proficient with analysing log files and standard debugging conceptStrong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Skills:Experience supporting and troubleshooting eCommerce applications with catalog, shopping cart, merchandising and payment handling is highly desirableExperience providing SaaS support is desirable,
