270280BRSupplier Manager- AMSJob Description- Ensure best practices in engaging with Novartis supplier base are adopted.- Ensure the alignment of IT function initiatives to the Novartis IT Supplier Strategy and to drive supplier optimization activities together with IT Procurement. - Ensure stakeholder engagement with other functions.- Build relationship with strategic partners and leverage their capabilities to develop differentiated products/ services - Engage with and advises function leadership on the most appropriate/ best practice supplier engagement models, location footprint, vendor consolidation activities, and supplier strategy- Ensure IT Supplier Strategy (aligned with IT operating model) is understood and followed within the function- Manage IT Supplier Strategy deviations, justifications, and exceptions approval process, including for Transaction Review process- Support function teams in ensuring technical and operational requirements of the function are properly understood, documented, and considered in supplier engagements- Participate in supplier selection, including in setting selection and evaluation criteria- Engage with the broader IT Supplier Management organization to ensure consistent and best practice support regarding Supplier Governance, Service Delivery Excellence, and License Management - Manage escalations with and across key supplier engagements to effective resolution- Support function leadership with tracking and reporting for all supplier related activities - Participate in function Leadership Team meetings, including demand management and contract approval meetings - Support Quarterly Strategic Partner Reviews, bi- annual Executive Reviews, and regular cross functional Strategic Partner interaction meetings, ensuring superior quality and follow through on actions - Collaborate and proactively engage with supplier account teams, Novartis global IT functions, IT Procurement (including Supplier performance and Innovation), and other supporting functions, in managing the supplier governance structures and processes. - Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within supplier management scope- Sustainable optimization of supplier engagements (i.e. number of consolidations, delivery model improvements, negotiations, and demand management); - Support requests after transaction (Support effectiveness of IT function initiatives through the Transaction Review process); customer satisfaction with escalation resolution (i.e. satisfaction of IT customers and supplier account leads);- Accurate, consistent, and high quality reporting on IT supplier performance; key IT supplier satisfaction; colleague satisfaction with IT supplier supportMinimum requirementsMasters or other degree in relevant field English.
