Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesPosition Title: Supply Chain Analyst & BuyerReporting to: Supplier Development & Quality Engineer - F&ALocation: HyderabadPosition Summary:With minimum supervision, the Buyer F&A is responsible for, but not limited to, Execution of Part schedules, Movement of material between Suppliers, Supplier Quality and OTD metric related functions in the organization. He shall work collaboratively with all the team members local & global and also the customers. Essential Functions:Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Execution of the part Schedules based on the manufacturing Demand
  • Understand the supplier capacity and constraints and work closely to ensure the plans are met
  • Work with the Projects and manufacturing team in case technical support is required
  • Understand CNC machining and ability to solve day to day issues and set up of machines
  • Responsible for Buying of Brought out parts
  • Completion of Job work documents
  • Completion of Quality Related documentation for all parts
  • Support warehousing in Receipts and issues as required
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:Education & Experience
  • Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or accredited Design Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in metal Cutting Environment.
Skills & Competencies
  • Should have at least 2 years hand on experience in Metal Cutting
  • Set up of CNC machines and understanding of Cycle Times will be an added advantage
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Proficient in design software (inventor). Should be conversant with Creating 2D and 3D models as required
  • Ability to interact effectively with Customers, Peers, employees across the levels.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations & conversations professionally and amicably.
  • Warehousing and documentation knowledge
