Network Support Engineer - 24/7 Support Support Engineers (SE) serve as frontline technical resources for global customers and partners via phone, email or web. They deliver unique value by collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality and enhancements and creating self-help assets to broadly reach more customers. You will be part of a team responsible for providing an outstanding technical support experience to our business customers. From problem identification to full resolution, you will own and manage the customer experience over the phone and Web. When needed, you will collaborate with others to engage subject matter experts, Engineering (Product Groups) or Management. Your day to day job will be about providing both technical expertise (either on your own or by involving your colleagues) and about being an excellent communicator and a service oriented professional. You will be given the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues., Must have strong knowledge on Windows Server (08R2,12,12R2,16). Good Understanding on Windows Hyper-V, Hyper-V replications & resynchronization. Good Understanding Of TCP/IP Configuration. Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP configuration. Should have knowledge on troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP related issues. Should have knowledge on tools like Perfmon, Procmon, Process Dump, MPIO, DSM, Microsoft Message Analyzer, Process Explorer & Netmon. Should have knowledge on Protocols like TCP/IP, RPC, RDP & SMB. Must have knowledge on Domain Joining process as well as troubleshooting of Domain joining related issues. Should have knowledge on DFS configuration. Should be able to troubleshoot Slow file sharing related issues. Should be able to configure NPS, NLA, NLB & NIC TEAMING. Must have troubleshooting knowledge on NPS, NLA, NLB & NIC TEAMING. Should be able to troubleshoot NCSI related issues. Should have knowledge on Windows firewall configuration. Should have knowledge on BFE (Base Filter Engine). Should be able to configure Remote access settings as well as troubleshoot Remote access related queries. Should have understanding on telnet and related queries. Should understand trust related issues due to DNS. (e.g. Trust relationship error) Should have understanding on 802.1x Wireless Authentication. Should have Knowledge on VPN. Excellent Knowledge on RAID, Implementation of RAID & disk management. Strong knowledge on Integration Services, VMMS & VMWP processes.
