Job Description

  • You will primarily be responsible for driving increased data quality and solving challenging operational business goals. You will utilize data and develop creative processes to improve your team s performance.
  • You will directly work with product management and tech teams to develop scale-able, long-term solutions which will have a significant impact on Marketplace teams.
  • The objective would be to dive deep into Seller facing tools and identify areas of improvement, conduct audits on based on SOPs, analyze data and propose features which focus on improving the back-end systems responsible for Seller Experience/ Tool performance and reduce defects across systems.
  • Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners, and management. The candidate should have a track record of delivering results, experience processing large amount of data and report generation & management. The candidate should be clear and use data to drive their communication with stakeholders. The candidate should be able to resolve issues with reduced guidance.

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of software development/support/ devops experience
  • Development skills in Java or C/C++, preferably on a Linux/Unix platform.
  • Strong understanding of support processes SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics.
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role Knowledge of High Level Programming Languages like Python, Perl, and HTML
  • Knowledge of XML feeds, SQL and Data Analysis
  • Ability to write macros in MS Excel aimed at improving processes
