  • Dells Digital GblOps Eng Design, Product Lifecycle Management team is hiring a Software Engineer - to deliver on initiatives for our PG business. Design team owns & supports Engineering Data & Product Group Applications for Client & Enterprise customers. Manage Business Relationship (Single POC) Product Lifecycle Data and Product Development Groups in Client & Enterprise. Support all product development teams in Client and Enterprise from product conception, product launch till EOL
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the gathering of requirements, analysis, design and implementation of high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product with a focus on software installation solutions.
  • Prioritize own work regarding the development, coding, testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of customized web applications. Assists in establishing group priorities relative to basic or very specific business needs.
  • Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.
  • Performs estimation efforts on projects. Conducts a range of quality-control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Logs defects and identifies course of action.
Essential Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience. Out of this at least 3+ years of experience in Oracle Agile PLM
  • Strong Oracle Agile PLM implementation experience. Understanding of Oracle Agile product architecture, understand the nuances of PLM domain and managed some of the complex PLM programs
  • Install &Configure Agile 9.3.X *. Knowledge in Agile Administration tasks like creating privilege criteria, masks and roles, user management.
  • Experience in Agile SDK Customizations (PXs, WSXs) Development and Support
  • Knowledge in standard and custom Agile work flow definition & administration.
  • Experience in PLM process definition, analysis, design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of ACP tool
  • Hands on experience in Java/J2EE. Strong knowledge of core Java, jdbc, JSP, servlets, jms.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; work with minimal supervision while delivering on action items in a timely fashion
Desirable Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
  • Knowledge of SOA Architecture
