Job Description

*Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field., *Job Responsibility

  • Good knowledge on any one of the Cloud Platforms(AWS, Azure or GCP or Oracle Cloud)
  • Good knowledge on scripting Python/Linux Shell scripting/Perl/PowerShell
  • Good knowledge on Containers/Pods/Dockers/Kubernetes
  • Good Database administration skills. Must have sound knowledge on how to migrate data from one environment to another. Must be able to perform database backup/restore.
  • Very good Linux Administration skills.
  • Very good communication skills. Need to extensively work with multiple teams to perform day to day tasks.
  • Good knowledge on Webservers and application servers preferably WebLogic server and OHS or Apache.
  • Configure, secure and manage servers and network communications.
  • Troubleshoot problems on various layers of the application and infrastructure. Provide internal analysis and support.
Create and maintain validated documentation set for operations of various service components. Description:As an Oracle Cloud Migration Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for migrating data from GBUCS Cloud to OCI Cloud. He will need to understand the existing environments, and prepare it for the migration into the OCI which is based on containers/podsWork is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical skills in the area of specialization. There may or may not be enough documentation for this. The Candidate might be required to follow existing documents and also suggest changes to improve the process. The candidate should possess some or all of the below skills
  • The candidate must have worked on any one of the Cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud.
  • Good knowledge on scripting Python/Linux Shell scripting/WLST Scripting/PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Containers/Dockers/Pods/Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of database administration and data migration.
  • Very good Knowledge on Linux administration
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager and WebLogic tools(WebLogic Server Administrator Console, WebLogic Scripting Tool, WebLogic Configuration
  • Experience in managing servers in Oracle VM environment, WebLogic Server management.
  • The Candidate would need to work well in a team environment, should have strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
