Job Description

    Location:- Hyderabad, INDIASummary Overview:We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems and infrastructures. The System Engineer will be responsible for optimizing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that IT infra services meet the needs of the business.Requirements:
    1. System Maintenance & Monitoring:
      1. Monitor system performance to ensure stability, availability, and optimal resource utilization.
      2. Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure security and reliability.
      3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
    2. Automation & Scripting:
      1. Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency.
    3. Security & Compliance:
      1. Ensure systems are secured in accordance with company security policies and industry best practices.
      2. Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and apply necessary patches and updates.
      3. Implement and enforce disaster recovery plans and business continuity procedures.
    4. Collaboration & Support:
      1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network engineers, developers, infra support) to meet system requirements.
    1. Provide technical support to other teams or departments when issues arise.
    2. Assist with training junior engineers or other team members when necessary.
    1. Documentation & Reporting:
      1. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
      2. Generate system performance reports and track key performance indicators.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • 3-5 years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure management.
    • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server & Linux.) and system administration.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure. (AWS optional).
    • Hands-on experience with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
    • Experience with performance management tools (ex: Zabbix, New Relic, Datadog or SCOM).
    • Solid scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Knowledge of Azure snapshot backup and disaster recovery processes.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with Kaseya or Datto.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
    • Certification in IT systems or cloud platforms (ITIL and AZURE).
