Systems: UC Engineer WHAT YOU LL DO DAY- TO- DAY: Administration of Network Voice and IP Telephony Infrastructure Evaluation , implementation and production deployment of new voice features/products - Development and maintenance of API based tools to support voice and video infrastructure Assistance with A/V and conference room related projects Desired Candidate : WHO WE RE LOOKING FOR: - Hands on with Cisco Voice technologies with 2+ years of related industry experience Specific knowledge of Cisco s UC portfolio including , but not limited to - Must have: Communications Manager(CUCM) , Unity Connection , Unified Presence (Jabber) , Voice Gateways , IP Phone but not limited to , Highly Desired: Cisco Meeting server , Cisco Telepresence - Desired: Expressway Understanding of IP Telephony protocols like SIP , H323 , MGCP , RTP , RTCP , etc. Working knowledge of : Monitoring/troubleshooting tools like RTMT , Dialed number analyzer , etc. Video Conferencing , TelePresence , CMS. Understanding of Basic Networking concepts of TCP/IP , DNS , DHCP , TFTP etc. Familiarity with scripting (python or other) to support/enhance automations.
