Job Description

The Systems Engineer will work on a flagship project delivering the solutions to clients. He/She will need to interact with other teams/groups and have the responsibility of producing the deliverables on timely basis. The scope for carrying out deep analysis and producing quality deliverables is immense and that requires excellent analytical and execution skills.Application s main objective is to provide clients a complete picture of their customer base for marketing by appending corrected contact information, deduping account data and, drive personalization and enhance customer experience using the delivery process that s built on a robust OneID platform.Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze Client and/or Vendor supplied data for data quality attributes such as fill rates , duplicates , invalid values etc. and come up with insights
  • Process Execution: Onboard the file, process it thru various phases of OneID solution namely EDF, Self Service etc., prepare the metrics and do a quality control check. This job requires special focus in running the process collaborating with other teams and prioritizing the jobs (Production vs POC) in case of any contention for cluster resources following established Agile processes
  • Operations Support: For production clients, need to make sure we receive the file, run the process and deliver on agreed timelines (SLAs) after conducting the quality control checks by closely working with the stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field (will consider applicants with a Bachelor s degree and relevant work experience as well)
  • 4 to 5 years of work experience in real-world applications using Hadoop ecosystem, Databases
  • A strong work experience in Hadoop & Hive SQL is a MUST and strong Unix skills are required
  • Knowledge of Spark is preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good inter-personal and collaborative skills
  • Be able to work both in group and as an individual contributor under tight schedules
