The DBA will be required to work with applications teams and others in IT for resolving issues, keeping stakeholders updated with status on their requests, initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within established timeframes and work with database engineering team for solutions on recurring problemsJOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s in computer science, Engineering, or equivalentUnderstanding of and experience with server- client computing and relational database environmentsOverall work experience of 5 years with about 3- 4 years of experience in SQL server administration with specific experience on:Installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL ServerBackups restores and recoveryDatabase Mirroring or Always- On High AvailabilityIndex management, statistics and performance tuningCapacity Planning and Patching MaintenanceT- SQL knowledgeGood communication skillsSelf- disciplined and highly motivatedGOOD TO HAVE SKILLS PowerShell FamiliarityWindows Server knowledgeMySQL or Oracle administration,
