Join us and start doing your lifes best work.(sm)SRE Manager position to manage Clinical TechOps function at OGS, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses. Resource is expected to maintain service levels for clinical apps and maintain resiliency and availability.Positions in this function include those who monitor and operate computer and peripheral equipment: review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale computer systems. Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Provide expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, consulting on complex projects/existing applications, timely completion of scheduled jobs, and overall operating systems. Also includes overseeing environments health and facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity. Develop processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs. Document all hardware, application, facility, etc. problems and take corrective action as required. Impact of work is most often at the local level.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
  • DR planning for all the applications
  • Work with integrated Apps
  • Performance testing and review of the results; example: Hasura benchmarking
  • SLO, take care of ITSM activities
  • Jenkins administration and Pipelines configurations
  • Git administration
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in setting up monitoring infrastructure for enterprise apps
  • Azure cloud knowledge
  • Azure Kubernetes architecture, deployments and CLI commands
  • Azure Dashboards to capture metrics for each application deployed in Azure
  • Hasura & GraphQL
  • OpenShift architecture, deployments and CLI commands
  • Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
  • Database administration knowledge (Azure Postgres, Citus, Replication between DBs, lags, real time switchover to different DB when master is down, etc.)
