Technical Skills6+ years of IT experience as a Tableau Developer Experience in Tableau Desktop / Server Installation and Configuration , creating users , groups , projects , providing access levels. Employed various Tableau functionalities like Tableau Extracts , Parameters , Filters , Contexts , Data Source Filters , Actions , Functions , Trends , Hierarchies , Sets , Groups , Data Blending , and Maps etc. , Hands - on experience in creating solution driven dashboards by developing different chart types including Crosstab , Heat / Geo / Tree Maps , Pie / Bar Charts , Circle Views , Line / Area Charts , Scatter Plots , Bullet Graphs and Histograms in Tableau Desktop. Extensive experience in Tableau Desktop , Tableau Server and Tableau Reader in various versions of Tableau 8 , Tableau 9 , Tableau 10 and Tableau 10.5 Conversant with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) involving Systems Analysis , Design , Development , and Implementation. Preferred Knowledge in MS Access Support , Hadoop , Big Data. Experience in analytical Database Design and Data Modeling skills using MS Visio and Balsamiq. Experience in creating different visualizations using Bars , Lines , and Pies , Maps , Scatter plots , Gantts , Bubbles , Histograms , Bullets , Heat maps and Highlight tables. Involved in Trouble Shooting , Performance tuning of reports and resolving issues within Tableau Server and Tableau desktop report. Experience in Installation , Configuration , and administration of Tableau Server in a multi - server and multi - tier environment. Extensive experience in building Interactive dashboards using Tableau. Involved in upgrading Tableau platforms in a clustered environment and performing content upgrades. Established Best Practices for Enterprise Tableau Environment and application intake and development processes. Experience in Tableau Administration Tool for Configuration , adding users , managing licenses and data connections , scheduling tasks , embedding views by integrating with other platforms. Expertise in creating databases , users , tables , triggers , macros , views , stored procedures , functions , packages , joins and hash indexes in Teradata database. Extensively worked with Teradata utilities like BTEQ , Fast Export , Fast Load , Multi - Load to export and load data to / from different source systems including flat files. Expert in ETL - Extraction Transformation Loading , Data warehousing , Operations Data Store concepts , data marts and OLAP - Online Analytical Processing technologies. Experience of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts , including star schemas , snowflakes , ETLprocesses , dimensional modeling and reporting tools Highly proficient in the use of T - SQL for developing complex stored procedures , triggers , tables , user functions , user profiles , relational database models and data integrity , SQL joins and query writing. Experienced in developing and modifying cubes using SSAS and transform into the pivot table.
