Job Description

  • Providing technical and specialist support to the KYC Shared Services team
  • Ensuring State Street KYC / AML Compliance Policy requirements are met and that CDD procedures are followed
  • Monitoring and managing the completion of CDD documentation for all customers in line with applicable KYC / AML Policies & Procedures
  • Ensuring that all necessary screening takes place in line with the KYC customer matrix provided by compliance
  • Notifying local management of operational issues.
  • Support the management team in work allocation, task completion and deadline adherence.
  • Ensuring KYC / Anti - Money Laundering risk assessments using corporate compliance tools and methods prior to account opening are completed before account opening and on an on - going basis for new accounts
  • Managing and reviewing the preparation of MIS on customers CDD and underlying investors
  • Thorough knowledge of SOPs/related check points
  • Manage people and ensure the team get along to achieve common goals and keep the morale of the team is high
  • Manage Monthly Service Review calls with the stakeholders effectively
  • Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on ongoing basis
  • Reviewing status reports for senior management
  • Manage senior management and stakeholders effectively
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency & implement in a controlled manner.
  • Work both independently and as a team in a fast paced production environment.
  • Graduate and above
  • Knowledge of know - your - customer process and anti - money laundering laws is mandatory.
  • Staff - management experience of min 2 - 3 years.
  • Conflict management and strong customer service rendering experience.
  • Audit or assurance experience
