Job Description

Team Leader leads a team of a team size 20 - 25 members and ensures that daily service delivery targets are met/exceeded. Individuals in this position coordinate and manage relationships by building a successful interface between the process team and internal/external stakeholders. Key Result Areas Ensure SLA are met and exceeded to ensure high level of member satisfaction Drive continuous process improvements by initiating projects for quality, productivity and process improvements Coordinate with WFM for process related MIS and dashboards for reviews with management Manage employee retention and engagement and contribute to recruitment through screening interviews Inventory management Manage inventory within timelines through effective leave management, cross utilization and report escalations to Anthem and management. Responsibilities Business Share status reports with business leaders for review on a periodic basis. Ensure successful execution of the plans strategies as laid out by management time to time. Project/Process Drive team to achieve process Service Level Agreements / metrics i.e. productivity and quality target within the established timelines Maintain operations rigor around daily huddles, visual, knowledge management, cross training etc. Identify opportunity areas for improvement in quality productivity Ensure optimum resource utilization through cross training initiatives and buffer management Liaison with support functions like HR, IT facilities to resolve issues. Engage with other processes to understand and implement best practices. People / Team Ensure adherence to engagement plans for team members Manage attrition and absenteeism and maintain EWS (Early warning system) for the team for tracking and proactively addressing people issues Identify groom high potential team members for the next level Conduct performance appraisals for team members Follow the performance management grid take immediate steps for any variance Ensure performance report (presentation/visual boards) is shared with team on a regular basis.,
