200+ That is the size of the team supporting Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) and Pricing and Market Access (PMA) across NGSC s. We are a trusted and solution oriented business partner to all Novartis divisions enabling patients to get best access to Novartis products.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads V&A-DS&I Hyderabad team (5-7 associates) for assigned business. Ensure deployment of resources and drive DS&I initiatives and deliverables / projects (HTA analysis / Payer Disease Primers / Briefing Books / Discussion guides / Core Value Prospectus / project management & co-ordination of cross-functional forums etc) towards creating scientific and functional excellence Ensures output of DS&I deliverables at highest quality, adhering to timeliness and quality standards. Accountable for overall accuracy and delivery of the DS&I deliverable/s produced by the team Effectively liaise with different clients / stake-holders to align and prioritize projects/activities, to deploy resources against priorities to ensure targets/timelines are met. Effectively network with other Hyderabad functions, as well as any relevant regions/CPOs [Country Pharma Organization] working in the same therapy area or brands to find synergies and enhance quality Accountable for the adherence to processes/guidelines/SOPs and ensure inspection and audit readiness of all relevant documents for her/his assigned team People Management - Work with senior management in recruiting, managing performance, and develop associates (development/training plans, coaching & mentoring, team-building) Set direction, align, and motivate team members to achieve set and shared goals and objectives with management and other Team Leaders in V&A team. Contribute to building the V&A culture across site (make presentations and hold training sessions to spread the awareness on V&A) Comply with and support group s project management tool, standards and policies. Maintains records for all assigned projects including archiving. Maintains audit, SOP and training compliance EEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role:Essential: Undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline plus graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in relevant discipline (including health economics, epidemiology, health services research, public health, or business management) Proficiency in English is a pre-requisite; while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage Pharmaceutical domain knowledge MS-Office skills (MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power-point) 6-8 years conducting PA (PMA / HEOR / EM) research / activities for pharmaceutical products in pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g. clinical research, statistics, epidemiology, pricing analytics)Desirable requirements: Ability to work, prioritize, and drive projects independently Proven leadership (people management and project management)Why consider Novartis 766 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2021, and while we re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people s lives.We believe new insights, perspectives and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
