Job Description

Applicant should have proven background in PL/SQL and SQL development and performance tuning, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL Skills. The person should have good knowledge in Client-Server application development using Oracle 12c/11g, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL Developer and SQL*LOADER. Proven track record demonstrating ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment. Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to design and implementation of Business Applications
  • Develop Complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Responsible for strong adherence to coding standards, procedures and techniques contribute to the technical code base
  • Strong knowledge of Table Functions, Indexes, Table Partitioning, Collections, Analytical functions, Materialized Views, Query Re-Write and Transportable table spaces. Strong experience in Data warehouse concepts and at least one ETL tool.
  • Develop a materialized views for data replication in distributed environments.
  • Participate in creating internal business specifications, creating technical design for business features.
  • Quick learner with motivation to learn new languages, technologies and frameworks.

    • Requirements:

    Mandatory skills

  • Ability to write complex PL/SQL queries for reporting purpose
  • Experience in Creating View, Materialized View. Experience in writing Store Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, View, Scheduler, Jobs etc.
  • Good Experience in Cursors, Ref cursor, Pl SQL tables to process huge volumes of data and used bulk

    • Collect for mass update as performance improvement process

  • Customizing the application using PL SQL techniques.
  • Support the users of application with using multiple SQL and PL SQL techniques.
  • Can assist in developing and implementing new technologies.
  • Support all day to day activities related to database like data consolidation, data migration

    • Scripting.

  • Migrated data from flat files to tables using sql*loader.
  • Participate in special projects, quality improvement initiatives and other similar exercises
  • Flexibility to work independently in Global environment

    • Education:

  • Any Degree from a reputed college - B. Tech, MS, MCA or equivalent technical degree is preferred

    • Certifications If Any:

    Experience :

  • Total 5years of experience with minimum 3years of experience in Oracle 11g, 12c SQL and PL/SQL Development

    • Behavioral skills:

  • Good communication skills

  • Quick learner and passionate to learn new technologies/products
  • Participates as a team member and engages in teamwork within other applications in the portfolio.
