Job Description

  • Agreements Data Quality (ADQ) team is part of Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Business Support team, which supports various lines of businesses from Mumbai and Hyderabad. Qualified candidates will be a contributing member of the Agreements Data Quality team, which supports Global Banking and Markets Client Onboarding Group .
  • ADQ is responsible for profiling of Global Banking and Markets legal agreements in ATOM- BAML s strategic global repository and workflow management tool - once the AD Negotiation and Initial Profiling process is completed. Typical documents profiles include ISDA Master Agreements, Repurchase Agreements, Master Repurchase Agreements, Reg VM CSA etc
  • The prospective candidate will be an individual contributor with required skillset to manage day to day deliverables. Should have learning agility with self-driven approach towards managing expected performance for self and a good team player.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing legal documents encompassing agreement terms between two financial institutions/counterparties
  • Reporting of Negotiators performance ( Top N Analysis, Ageing etc)
  • Compiling and publishing metrics sent by Negotiators / Legal teams through Snap shots and Dashboards
  • Profiling key terms and conditions in BAML platforms
  • Synthesizing documents and storing necessary information required to resolve issues pertaining to potential terminations/ litigation or regulatory matters
  • Liaising with onshore partners in all regions on an on-going basis to understand the evolving business needs

Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate (Degree in Law or Degree/Diploma/PG in Company Secretary will be an advantage)
  • Candidates with additional Diploma in Finance will have an edge

Experience:

  • 5-7 Years
  • Candidates with good exposure to various local law agreements will be preferred

Foundational Skills:

  • Strong understanding of various legal documents and contracts pertaining to Financial Services Industry

Desired Skills

  • Ability to comprehend abstract legal agreements- candidate should be detail oriented
  • Good working knowledge in Excel, MS Access and other MS Office tools that are used in Business Reporting
  • Strong work ethic Team Orientation
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills in English language
