New roles dedicated to innovation continue to be created to focus on breakthrough opportunities.Contribute to or support aspects of planning, design, development and delivery of system solutions for a specific business or technology area, in alignment with design and architectural standards and business requirements. Capture, qualify and help prioritize new IT demand and ensure IT services provided to business are meeting service quality standards as per agreed SLAs.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Identify and qualify new demand with overall responsibility for steering proposals through the early phases of approval; participate in establishment of budgets and investment proposals and obtain sponsorship and funding.- Ensure the introduction of new / modified services happens in a planned, controlled and timely manner to minimize disruption and maximize benefit.- Create the detailed IT solution/service design, based on functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints and develop, build, configure, customize and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications. - Hold end to end accountability for business processes, integrate services horizontally across organizational units, and manage interfaces between Service Delivery projects.- Collaborate with various stakeholders from Technology Transformation (TT), business and implementation partners to deliver a robust, compliant, and secure solution. And take accountability to ensure adherence with Data Privacy, Security and Compliance policies. - Work closely with Project Manager (PM) and project team to contribute to Project Plan, Risk Register, and Communication Plan and with operations and Infrastructure teams for various activities including database refreshes, storage planning and monitoring impact of interrelated projects.- Review/Approve Data Migration Plan, Design Specification and Summary Report to ensure data migration activities meet requirements, are complete and accurate and delivers a high-quality migration.- Contribute to Test Strategy and planning activity and perform code review to adhere to coding standards.- Review of Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) scripts and results for completeness and accuracy. Lead production cutover and deployment activities. Review/Approve the cutover plan.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role:- Graduation/ Post-Graduation in the relevant domain- 10 + years of total experience in the industry Overall 6+ years of experience with a demonstrable record in the area of Safety Data Migrations with large data volumes and complex configurations.- Maintains current knowledge of Safety systems (including Argus 8.x) configuration, database structure, mappings requirements and transformation rules.- Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance domain regulations, processes and systems. and support audit and inspection requests related to Safety Data Migrations.- Self-starter with ability to collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed and multi-cultural environment, taking full accountability of results and able to manage concurrent data migration projects.WHY NOVARTIS 769 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2020, and while we re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people s lives.We believe new insights, perspectives and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
